Recently I participated in a podcast, Five Minutes With Jen Fry (jenfrytalks.com), to share my thoughts on what athletic departments can do to improve the experience of its student-athletes. Jen Fry Talks is a social justice firm that focuses on empowering and educating those in athletics through an anti-racist lens.
During the interview, I draw upon my experiences as a former Associate Athletic Director at the Universities of North Carolina and Houston, VP of Player Development at the National Basketball Association, college basketball scholarship student-athlete and consultant working with athletics directors and directors of student-athlete development programs around the country.
